naphotopomo / 02.29.2008

well, i wanted my last post to be something memorable and, well.... good. unfortunately, i ran out of time. something about preferring to spend time with my daughter and not worry about taking a photo.

anyways, this is a shot from a photography magazine from wedding photographer david jay. i shot this because i booked my first wedding for 2008 the other day. an evening wedding at the warner theater! i'm excited about it. i should be able to get the couple some great shots in a super awesome building.

congrats to those who participated in naphotopomo for february 2008, and especially to those who made it all 29 days shooting and posting. and special thanks to thomas brock for setting it all up.

one final note about my 29 shots. 26 of them were taken in one shot. my plan was to take one photo each day. i had to plan out what to take the photo of, and then execute it. all shots were also taken with my 4 year old point and shoot camera. these were some of the limitations i imposed upon myself. i only managed to come away with only one shot i considered "good" and worthy of posting on my photoblog.
